I'M BACK!

Hello guys! I've been a little disconnected from the blogging world these past couple of months and I haven't had a chance to post anything recently. I want to apologize and I promise that I will try to post every week from now on. I'm so excited because many good things are happening to me and I want to share with you that I'm interning with Austin Fashion Week. I feel so good about this because I'll be doing what I love!

Anyways, this summer was so much fun because I went to Mexico to visit some family and my dear friends, I got to spend time with them and catch up and party a little bit. I spent a week in Puerto Vallarta and the rest of the summer in Zacatecas, a beautiful colonial city that has a very European vibe to it. I leave you with some pictures that I took during my vacation, I hope you enjoy them.

WHITE SUMMER

Hello, lovelies! This Monday was Memorial Day and it was the unofficial start of the summer and you know what it means?? We are allowed to wear a lot of white. White dresses, white shoes, and white accessories, you get the picture.

White is one of my favorite colors  to wear because you can mix and match it with anything  and everything in your closet and it is also the perfect color for summer because it is very cool and crisp. Wether you stay home and hang out with your friends or take that much anticipated vacation, you better not be caught without it because it is the color of the summer and everybody is wearing it.

If you didn't know, Lana Del Rey is one of my favorite musicians and she has mentioned that she loves to wear white dresses in her presentations because it reminds her of summer in Paris and I agree with her. White is very romantic and easy and you can't go wrong with it. So, when you go shopping for your summer wardrobe don't forget to buy a white crochet dress, some white sunnies and a pair of white sandals and you'll be set. Are you loving white as much as I am?? :)

MY SHOPPING LIST

Hello guys! I'm so happy school is officially over and now I have more time to write posts and make plans for this summer. It's exciting to not have to study and do homework for a couple of months and just focus on doing relaxing and fun things like shopping and catching up with favorite shows. Right now, I have many things on my shopping list that I would like to add to my closet because I'm obsessed with them. I am thinking on going in a shopping spree really soon and getting these items because they will update my wardrobe for this summer. So here is my shopping list!

shopping list
1. Pointed Heels- These shoes are making a comeback and they are very popular nowadays, but are more fashion forward this time around than before. Everybody seems to be loving them (including me) because they are so classic and easy to pair with everything, from jeans to a gorgeous mini dress.

2. Knuckle or midi rings- These rings go just half way and look so chic and go perfect with an awesome mani. You can wear  many rings at the same time and it's totally fashionable and hot. Everybody from Rihanna to Alexa Chung have been rocking them!

3. Chelsea Boots- I want these boots because they so have the "London Look" and are so easy to pair with everything when you are not feeling like wearing high heels. It is a must-have shoe and it makes me so mad to not own them already.

4. Turbans or head-wraps- I have a big obsession with hair accessories and hats, so I'm in love with turbans. I simply love them because it can add so much sparkle to any outfit and they are very useful when you are having a bad hair day. Don't be afraid of mixing prints with your turbans and clothes. They are simply OH SO CHIC!

5. Black Maxi Dress- This dress will be my to go piece for this summer, I think they are so practical yet so sexy. I really love the ones that are backless and with high thigh slit. Just pair it with a killer strappy heel and you are set.

GO ORANGE!

Hi guys! I'm so sorry that I haven't posted anything lately but I've been so busy with school and finals! Yes, it's that sad time of the school year. But I made time today to post about something that I've been loving lately!

I think spring is the most lovely time of the year because it's not too hot nor too cold, it's just the perfect weather. When I think of spring I think about bright colors because flowers start to bloom and everything seems more alive and beautiful. So because it's spring I've been wearing a lot of color in my outfits, especially oranges and corals! I'm so crazy for this color because it makes every outfit more fun. I think I've gone mad because I have a lot of orange things like shoes, purses, clothes, and even lipsticks. A lot of fashionistas have said that orange is this season's color and I completely agree! How will you incorporate orange into your outfits this season?

This girl is something special. Pauline of Oh My Dior is a gorgeous beauty, long red hair, and very friendly personality. Pauline is a textile designer and she is from Mexico but sometimes lives in the Netherlands. Personally, I love her blog because it has certain magic that no other blog has and this makes me want to see what she does next. It seems like a dream, but Pauline is actually a reality: unique, cheerful, and with great taste in fashion, especially in accessories! (I love her blog posts about jewelry, hats and shoes.) This young successful blogger is an inspiration for anyone who reads her blog, especially those who are interested in what is happening in the fashion world. I’m very proud to present this fun interview of Pauline because she has accomplished a lot a very young age and I congratulate her for that.

A: Many people love shoes, but I love tops, blouses, tees for me is the most important part of the outfit is the main character.

Q: Fashion faux pas?
A: I just hate when people dress like if they wanted to look older.

A: Right now Bradley Cooper! He is so handsome, those eyes and that smile.

Q: How do you make the time to blog and do all your collages?
A: It is hard sometimes, people don’t know but sometimes a post can take me ours, I just do it when I feel creative, it’s a great way for me for relaxing, my mind just goes blank.

Q: Favorite band/singer? I love Lenka; I love her voice and childish music, with lyrics that feel like if they were reading my mind.

STYLE ICONS: BLAKE LIVELY

Hi guys!! How is spring treating you? I hope you are loving it as much as I am. For the past week I can't seem to get out of my denim shorts, white blouses, and maxi dresses and I plan to stay in this mood for as long as I can. Today I will talk to you about another of my fashion icons: Blake Lively.

Blake Lively is always chic and breathtaking in the red carpet and in her street style. I first saw Lively's style in one of my favorite series, Gossip Girl and I was fascinated. I love how she can take a pair of jeans and make it look effortless yet so stylish and don't let me forget about that hair!

For me Blake Lively is one of the most beautiful young Hollywood stars at the moment and certainly the one to watch. I'm in love with everything she wears because I can see some of my style in Blake’s. But the thing that I love seeing on her are dresses, the girl certainly knows how to wear one well. Short or long, dresses look always good on her because she has an amazing body and personality to match. Lively can go from bohemian to rocker, and that's why I like her style, because she is not afraid of change and she doesn't get stuck in one look. Another thing that I admire in Blake Lively's wardrobe is her accessories! I just love how she mixes and matches different colors and sizes of necklaces and earrings, whoever said less is more clearly didn't know Blake.

It's not just me that considers Blake Lively a 21st century fashion icon; Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour and Christian Louboutin do too. They have been seen with the young actress in many occasions and that is a big thing. You know you made it in Hollywood when you are friends with A-listers and appear in blockbusters but you know you made it in the fashion world when you are seeing with big fashion personalities like Lagerfeld, Wintour and Louboutin. You go Blake!
